Replacement cloth fabricated to your machine dimensions. Not an OEM spare part. Everything in section 3 and section 4 follows from that one sentence, and
it applies to every page on this site that mentions an equipment brand.
1. What these terms cover
These terms govern your use of hvbfcloth.com and the enquiry process it runs. By using
the site or sending an enquiry, you accept them.
They are not the terms of sale. A supply of goods is governed by the order confirmation we issue for
that order and any terms attached to it; where the two differ, the order confirmation wins.
The operating entity behind this site is not yet published here (UNKNOWN
— it will be added once confirmed). Nothing in this page is intended to limit rights you have under
mandatory law in your own country.
2. Website content and accuracy
This site is technical reference material, published so that an engineer can work out what to ask for.
It is not a specification for your machine.
Where a parameter appears without a value, or marked UNKNOWN, that is
deliberate: the value has not been confirmed by the factory and we will not publish a placeholder number.
Where a value does appear, it appears with the test method used to obtain it. A figure without a method
beside it is not something you should design around, here or on any supplier's site.
Nothing published here is an assurance that a particular cloth suits your duty. Suitability is settled
in the enquiry, against your machine and your slurry.
3. Replacement cloth, not spare parts
We manufacture filter cloth to the dimensions of your machine. We are not an equipment manufacturer,
we are not an authorised dealer for one, and we are not appointed, endorsed or approved by any of them.
Replacement cloth fabricated to your machine dimensions. Not an OEM spare part.
If your machine is under an equipment warranty, check what that warranty says about consumables before
you order replacement cloth from anyone other than the machine builder. That is your decision to make,
and we will not tell you it carries no consequences.
4. Brand names and fit status
Equipment brands and model names appear on this site for one reason: to identify the machine a cloth is
built to fit. All such names are the trademarks of their owners and their use here does not imply any
association with them.
Every product and equipment page carries a fit status. The four levels mean exactly this:
| Fit status | What it means |
| Unverified | No dimension check, no trial, no production history for this machine. This is the default on every page of this site. |
| Dimension Confirmed | Dimensions have been checked against your machine data or your old cloth and agreed in writing. |
| Trial Validated | A cloth of this construction has run on this machine in a trial, with the result recorded. |
| Production Validated | A cloth of this construction has run in normal production on this machine type, with the record to show it. |
The default across this site is Unverified. A status moves up only when there is a
record behind it, and it moves back down if that record turns out not to apply to your machine.
5. Quotations and orders
- A quotation is an invitation to order, not a binding offer, unless it says otherwise in writing.
- Quotation validity period: UNKNOWN — it is stated on
each quotation rather than fixed here, because material prices and freight move.
- A contract comes into existence when we issue a written order confirmation, not when you place an
order and not when a quotation is downloaded.
- Prices, currency, lead time, payment terms and Incoterms are set per quotation. Nothing on this
website is a price list.
- This site has no shopping cart and no online purchase. Belts are made to order and are not stock
items you can buy unseen.
- Sample policy, including who pays the freight on a sample, is stated at the point where a sample is
requested and agreed case by case.
6. Dimensions and data you supply
We build to the dimensions and machine data confirmed in the enquiry. You are responsible for the
accuracy of what you send: width, developed length, plate size, seam type, and the machine model. A belt
made correctly to a wrong measurement is still a wrong belt, and we cannot detect that from here.
Before production we confirm the dimensions back to you in writing. Check that confirmation — it is the
document the belt is cut from. If you are not sure how to take the measurements, the
measuring guide walks through it, and an old cloth photo lets us check
your figures against what is on the machine.
7. What we do not warrant
Our commitment is that the cloth is manufactured to the agreed construction and the confirmed
dimensions, and is free from manufacturing defects. Outside that:
- No service life is promised — not in months, not in tonnes, not in cycles. Cloth
life depends on the slurry, the machine's mechanical condition, the wash regime, the operating
parameters and how it is installed. Any supplier who names a service life for a machine they have not
seen is selling you a number, not a cloth.
- No filtration performance is warranted — cake moisture, throughput, clarity of
filtrate and wash efficiency are properties of your process, not of the fabric alone.
- Trial results are specific to the trial that produced them and do not carry over to
another machine, another slurry or another operating regime.
- Statutory rights that cannot be excluded are not excluded by this section.
Claims for manufacturing defects should be raised with photographs of the fault and of the machine
reference, as soon as the fault is found and before further use where that is practical.
8. Intellectual property
The text, tables, diagrams and structure of this site are ours. You are welcome to read them, print
them and circulate them inside your own organisation for the purpose of specifying cloth. Republishing
them, scraping them into another catalogue, or presenting them as another supplier's technical content
is not permitted.
Third-party trademarks shown on this site remain the property of their owners, as set out in section 4.
9. Your drawings and photos
What you send us stays yours. By sending it, you give us permission to use it for one purpose: quoting
and manufacturing your cloth. We treat drawings as confidential, we do not publish them, and we do not
show them to other customers.
The enquiry form does not take file uploads — drawings and photos reach us as attachments to your reply
to our confirmation email. You confirm that you are entitled to send us those files: if a drawing
belongs to your machine builder and is marked confidential, that is a decision for you to make before
you attach it, and ordinary email is the route it will travel.
How that data is handled and how long it is kept is set out in the privacy policy.
10. Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to break, probe or overload the site or its enquiry endpoints.
- Do not send malware or malicious attachments.
- Do not use the enquiry form for bulk marketing, and do not harvest the site for a competitor
catalogue.
- Do not send false machine data to obtain a quotation you have no intention of acting on.
Enquiries are read by a person rather than sorted by an automatic filter — we would rather read ten junk
messages than lose one genuine enquiry.
11. Third-party links
This site links to other websites. We do not control that content and are not responsible for it.
The site embeds no video and no third-party widgets. The only external resource a page loads is the web
font files, which is noted in the privacy policy.
12. Limitation of liability
The website is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or
consequential loss arising from use of this website or reliance on its technical content — including
lost production, lost profit, or the cost of downtime.
Liability connected with goods we supply is dealt with in the terms attached to the order confirmation
for that order, not here.
Nothing in this section excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for
fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded under the applicable law.
13. Governing law
Governing law and jurisdiction: UNKNOWN. They depend on
the operating entity referred to in section 1 and will be stated here once it is confirmed, and on each
order confirmation in the meantime.
Until then, disputes about an order are governed by the terms of that order. Mandatory protections
under the law of your own country are unaffected by anything on this page.
14. Changes to these terms
These terms may change; the date at the top changes with them. The version that applies to a quotation
or an order is the version in force when that order was confirmed.
