Horizontal vacuum belt filter cloth is a replacement filter cloth, supplied as an endless belt, for rubber-belt horizontal vacuum belt filters used in phosphogypsum, FGD gypsum and mineral concentrate dewatering.

Weave and polymer are chosen from your duty
Cloth polymer is chosen from your slurry chemistry — pH, temperature and particle size — not from a one-size catalog. Weave construction is selected with it: monofilament, monofilament/multifilament combinations and multi-layer weaves each behave differently on cake release and washing.
We do not publish cake-release, life or throughput figures for a weave. Those depend on the construction finally specified for your duty, and we would rather state that than print a number you cannot hold us to.

Air permeability and tensile values are only meaningful with the test method named beside them. We will publish the method name with the value — we do not quote a standard number we have not verified ourselves.

The seam is matched to your existing belt
Clipper, PAD, spiral and overlap seams are fabricated to match the belt you are replacing. A close-up photo of your current seam is the fastest way for us to quote correctly.
Clipper
Photograph the hook strip and both pin ends.

Photograph the full joint across the belt width.

Photograph the coil and the connecting rod.
Overlap
Photograph the overlap area and both belt edges.
Edge treatment (edge seal and similar) is specified with the seam. The exact seam and edge constructions our mill runs are being confirmed in writing and are not listed here yet.

Air permeability and tensile testing are part of the QC step. The specific test method names, and which steps run in our own mill for each cloth family, are being confirmed in writing and will be published once they are — we do not print a standard number we have not verified. Certificates are supplied as documents on request; we do not run a logo wall.
What goes wrong on a vacuum belt
A failure is not automatically a cloth failure. Root causes split between the cloth, the machine and the process — we will tell you when it is the machine, because a new belt will not fix it.

What information do you need to quote a replacement HVBF cloth?
Machine brand and model (or "unknown"), belt width and length, a photo of the old cloth and its seam, the slurry name, and what failed — life, blinding, tracking or leak. Optional but useful: pH, temperature and particle size distribution.
