How the machine works
One cloth through the whole stack
A Larox PF stacks filtration chambers vertically and threads one endless cloth through the entire pack in a zigzag. Every chamber forms cake in the same cycle; the pack then opens and the cloth indexes forward to discharge and wash before it closes again. For the cloth this means two things. It is a single loop serving all chambers, so one failure takes the machine out rather than one chamber. And it is pulled through the pack on every cycle, so elongation control — not raw breaking strength — is what keeps it on its path. Machine selection parameters are the OEM's ground, not ours.

What decides the change-out
- Elongation drift comes first, damage second. A loop that has stretched starts working against its guides, and the wear shows at the edges before the cloth itself gives up.
- Cloth form on this machine — Endless zigzag, low elongation. The path length is set by the plate pack, so it is measured, never estimated.

Air permeability and tensile testing on the finished cloth before packing, then export crating labelled with your machine reference.

your plate size, your cloth path, your joint. That is a statement about measurement, not a blanket claim about
every machine wearing the badge. The evidence behind it is named and repeatable: air permeability testing and
tensile testing on the finished cloth, with the results reported against the figures agreed in your RFQ.

Larox PF is not Larox RT. Metso Larox RT / Pannevis — Chemicals. Indexing vacuum — do not mix with Larox PF or RB. If your
nameplate reads RT or Pannevis, stop here. If it reads RB, that is the rubber-belt legacy line and it belongs to the

Two questions buyers ask first
Do you make cloth for Larox RT (Pannevis)?
No. RT is an indexing vacuum filter, not a tower press — different cloth mechanics, and we do not map it to this range. If the nameplate says RT or Pannevis, we are the wrong supplier and we would rather say so now than after you have paid freight.
Are you an OEM supplier for Metso?
No, and we will not imply otherwise. We weave replacement cloth to the dimensions of the machine you run. The OEM name on this page identifies the machine — nothing more.
