Where the cloth sits
A vertical pressure filter — the tower press family — stacks filtration chambers one above the other and threads a single endless cloth through the whole stack in a zigzag. Cake forms in every chamber at once, the pack opens, and the cloth indexes forward to discharge and wash before the next cycle closes. Two consequences for the cloth: it is one continuous loop rather than one piece per chamber, so a single failure stops the machine, not one chamber; and it is pulled through the pack on every cycle, which makes elongation control matter more than raw breaking strength. The cloth is specified by plate size and cloth path, not by belt width.
Three things worth knowing
- One cloth, whole machine. There is no spare chamber to run on while you wait, so the replacement date is a planning decision, not a reaction.
- Elongation is the controlling property. A loop that stretches drifts out of its path and starts taking damage at the guides.

Larox PF / PF-DS is the vertical tower press on this page. Larox RT (Pannevis) is an indexing vacuum filter — a different family with different cloth mechanics — and we do not supply cloth for it. Larox RB is the rubber-belt legacy line and belongs to the horizontal vacuum belt filter family.
BHS BF — Pharma, food, sieves. Different cloth mechanics — not mapped to our belt range.
Metso Larox RT / Pannevis — Chemicals. Indexing vacuum — do not mix with Larox PF or RB.
How a replacement cloth gets made
Cloth for this family already comes from more than one source — the OEM and third-party weavers both supply it. That is the market we work in, and we say so rather than implying a channel we do not have.
